Well more parts showed up today so this weekend I will cut the holes and weld it in. Does anyone know what that bump in the lip is for? I think I will hammer it flat.

:swear: I get to waste my day fixing the BADmark mid floor! It makes me mad knowing they cheated by adding 2" to the cuda floor and passing them off as the right part! Now if you want it right you have to cut and move the seat belt nut and part of the floor! Thanks Goodmark :puke:

Wouldn't it have been easier to just drill out the spot welds on the seat belt mount and relocate it?  Then just weld up a small holes and original seat belt hole?  Looks like a lot of work butt welding all those seams together.

The 4 speed hump on my 70 challenger is flat in that area, though the floor patch had a bump, I hammered the floor flat. where the hump meets it. I am guessing that different years had different floor pans.

Yeah but it wouldn't have been right. I am going to my best at doing everything the right way no matter what it cost or how much time it takes.

Could be the cuda floors are different than Challengers? We know that already since the seat mounts are different locations. So the 4 speed hump might be copied from a Cuda? Sounds like that might be why.

I think the hump is for using it on 71 and later b-bodies.  I believe the b-bodies have an extra raised area on the floor pan.

I have $200.00 it to everything right now all I need is two engine hoist rams. I stole the ram off my engine hoist so I could make the mounts.I'm trying to copy the one that was for sale here a few weeks ago.

Well the rotisserie is done!It really works great but I still need to fine tune the center of gravity. It took all day to build but I have more time than money so the $200.00 it cost to build was worth it!

Other than spending to much money at the Jefferson swap meet all I got done this weekend was a lot of cleaning and I got the floor hump installed.
I need to get all of the under coating scraped of so I can take it to the the guy who is going to blast my frame rails and lower cowl.
