Way to go Bart :wow: :2thumbs: i thought you would have been too nerveous to pull the trigger on the paint yourself, just knowing you did the best you did with the preperation and the paint shop owner complementing you with such a high remark of a job well done would have been a real moment, the fact is you made his job all that easier doing such a fantastic prep and you have no one to thank but yourself for such a fine job old mate, congratulations on leeping over the largest of hurdles :jumping:
Did he indicate a curing time ? and are you consentrating on getting it rolling next ? Strongly suggest you stay away from the exterior for a little while, just my  :2cents:
Again it look fantastic and i can not wait to see the color in full sun and in shaded areas to show how much the color flips from Yellow to Orange  Good for you my friend

Great job!! I've had fun following this thread and you're right - it starts to get fun now.

Seeing your car in the booth reminded me of when my car was being painted - I took a video and when watching it later realized something that I hadn't noticed during the process - you can hear the shop's radio in the background playing Heart's "Barracuda"  :ylsuper:

thanks all for the kind words     I picked up the car from the paintshop this afternoon and its pretty strange walking into my cave and seeing that thing shine in the dark...  :bigshades:   It really is a strange color... under the lights it looks very yellow and in daylight it gets a nice red glow.  I love it  :ylsuper:
here are some pics but there was no sunlight today  :dunno:
Thanks Kenny for calling  :aussie:   really nice talking to ya buddy  :2thumbs:

That is a very nice looking yellow car man! That 2nd pic is really cool! Are you going with the M46 blackout along the rockers? Thanks for the pics!!!  Couldn't wait to put that hood chrome on! Ha!  I do that too.  It's fun.   I'd be excited if I were you... It looks KILLER!   :clapping:
