wow hemiken,

that looks sweet...   I want to combine it with flat black details.  Maybe hockeystick, maybe custom  :dunno:  but there has to be black on it...
at first I thought about a black hood aar style, but I won`t go with that ... tiny bit too much wrong aar clone looks with the ralley hood  :faint:

time to post some pics...
The under-and inside are ready for as far as I need the body to be on the rotisserie, so I took it off and made some dolly wheels for it.  Great to see it back on the ground.  Last week I started working on the passenger side door, taking out the glass and all other stuff that`s inside.  The door is in really good shape, no rust at all  :jumping: , and just a little bondo in some old small dents.  There were 9 layers of paint and primer on it, and a few of them felt like they never dried. I guess it`s cellulose paint... :dunno:  very difficult sanding off   :eek4:     I hope to find the time to finish sanding and straightening the door this week and primer it next weekend...

the door is primered.  I`ve been sanding and removing paint and underbody coating from the rightside fender pretty much all week after dinner and today all day.  The fender was originally lime green...  there were holes for side molding and the barracuda emblem and for I guess a pentastar....oh yeah...and mudflaps...  welded up all holes and also deleted the sidemarker.
Sprayed in epoxy in and out tonight  :jumping:

I`ve found lime, torred, yve green, plumcrazy so far...  the body itself was lemontwist all the way

sidemarker delete...

Looks like things are starting to come together and we may all see some paint on the outside of the car before long. Thanks for the updates and the pictures look great.
