First thing I did was repin the hinges of the driverside door and put the door in the car. I knew the door to quarter gap was not correct so I had to see what was the problem there first.... well... it fit like crap...
I think the door once belonged to a poor repair front damaged car... they cut the door to make it fit and copper welded the gap. I had to weld a 4mm wire to the door to be able to grind it into the correct shape again. Luckily the copper welds were poor quality so I could grind out most of the copper and mig weld it together.
Once that was done I made the m46-like quarter scoops. Steel, and welded to the quarter. They will be paited in bodycolor with flat black on the inside.
