Wow, how in the hell did I miss that you have an M46 car?

Hey Brett, Barts car is a real 'Cuda and not an M46. He just liked the looks of the M46 scoops and hand fabicated them out of sheet metal.

I did not give him dimensions as i am needing scoops myself I think he would have just worked off pictures and hand fabricated them, that is what i would have to do also, to make them in panel steel.

 Very great job. And now let's start with the funny part of the game.   I'm also looking to a cuda project and as soon as I will find a good starting car (I would like to deal with a vert now) I would like to follow your steps...

I'm now very courious about your plan for next steps.   I guess that you are going to install undercarriage and suspensions/brakes first.  But, have you a general plan about the sequence of the tasks for complete the built ?

hey PP,
I`ve got no idea what to do next...      I`ve been focussing in the bodywork for the past 2 years, and now I`m busy drooling     When I`m done doing that, I will start thinking again. There is a big pile of parts I`ll have to dig through and get some kind of system in. Right now its getting pretty cold here ,so parts that need paint will have to wait anyway.

I didn`t take any measurements from original m46 scoops cause I dont like the way they were mounted under the bodyline.
here`s some pics... see what I mean... 
I`m glad I did put them on... I think they make the rear half of the body look a little more beefy 
I planned to paint the inside of the scoops black,  but instead I will take a little more time and airbrush them so it will look like there is a real hole in there...

 :wave:hej.wow great job on your car,im wondering about your grille,in your second pic,do you know if it is the original paint on it.im wondering cause the guy who painted my grille decided to paint my grille in a very,very light silver.like rallye center cap silver.and now im going to do it all over and i want to get as close as possible with regular paint.? keep it up,anders

It`s not the original paint.  In the first pic you can still see the faded remains of the original color.  When I got the car it had some damage to the left fender and grill. One night I felt I had to do something , and the grill was my victim... repaired the damage and repainted it in a color I liked for my car.  I believe those grilles were available in several shades of gray and black too.  I hope to get the grill on the car by the end of the week and I`ll post some pics of it.

....and  yes,  it does feel great to be at this point indeed
