not sure at this point where to put the warninglights and switches. The radiopanel is an option, but I will make a start on fabricating the floorconsole first and see where that takes me... Don`t even have switches yet...  :lol2:

Awesome gauge panel! Any pics of it out of the dash? I'm going to be fabbing up one for mine, just looking for some ideas without having to totally recreate the wheel.

Jimmy, I`ll get some pics for you when it comes out again, but it might take some time. I started work on the centre console today and I`m not getting a lot finished at the moment.... might take a few weeks.

No rush, not going to be getting to mine in a while. But can't ever be too prepared when I do! Looking forward to the console you are doing. Are you customizing that too?

made some progress with my console.  I still need a nice piece of wood to finish up around the gauges and radio though.  I`m not too sure about the aluminium trim on the console... I will decide if it will stay on when all parts are on the dash and console. Still have to mill a cupholder which will be alu as well.
The console will be home to the RF fusebox .

does anyone know if this is one of them $2000   `70 only parts?   I`m about to cut it up to fit the console and dash...   :violin:

it's not '70 only, but i have found them hard to find.  That part hides the a/c duct work, and are found only on a/c cars.  mine is broken, and i need to find one unbroken.  That's whats makes them hard to find.  If it were me, and i was not re-installing the a/c, I wouldn't cut it up, or even install it. i see that you have the vents in the dash for a/c, but the dash doesn't have any controls - unless you have them in your new console.  Anyway, it is just my opinion.

yah, i got thirsty too.  i think we need a close up.  my local watering spot has all kinds of lagers, ales, pilsners.....

bart - the small end is broken off completely, and one of the mounting holes has broken thru all together.  i may try to glue that piece back in this weekend.

your car is looking really nice, hopefully mine isn't too far behind!
