    I found a third party headliner made out of fiberglass, for my overhead console.  metal might be a better way to go.  once the fiberglass was formed, it doesn't like to bend.  that made it a bit difficult for installation.  if you get the process down and wanted to go in business, i am sure there would be a lot of customers!!

    why did you need it to bend?  Bad fit?   Once the aluminum is wheeled ,it will be pretty ridgid as well...

    Yes, It was pre-formed from a home-made mold.  i think the tolerances got way out of line.  It wasn't much, maybe a 1/4 inch each side (6 mm), but it wanted to spring back.  it had to be somewhat permanently attached to the roof rails.  the original formed 'peg' board material was much more flexible.  but fragile too.  there wasn't much left of mine.  It was the only thing i could find.  it worked out, and i am not terribly dispelased.  It looks just like the original with the fabric covering it. and the console.  i just hope i NEVER have to remove it!!  :stomp:

    An aluminum headliner would be awesome!!

    I would have a hard time painting it.  Would look great polished.

    Do wheels change looks or what...  :jumping:   finally found some steel wheels a few weeks ago.  15x7 up front and I had the rear wheels widened to 15x9.  Since I have a B-body rear I could use something wider in the back.  As long as the car isn`t ready to roll, I`ll leave the old tires on. These are 235-60 and 255-60.  The new ones will be 235-60 and  265 or 275-60.
    I won some nice dogdishes on ebay with the "plymouth division" inscripsion... can`t wait to put them on... still somewhere between the states and here...  :popcorn:

    Bart-
    Looking damn good! The color comes across very nice, matching the wheels is a very nice touch.  I like the width of your rear tires, very muscle looking, they way it should look.  And, lowering the car?  I like the stance the way it is.

    What’s next on the checklist?
    Will you be adding a passenger side door mirror?
    And, will you add a wing to the trunk? (I like wings)
