Unusual to not have two mirrors.... just not something you see done much these days.

I like the a-symmetric looks of 1.  On the other hand, these cars don`t offer a lot of view to the rear-right side.  :dunno:

LOL Ya I can imagine you do. Sure is gonna be one sweet car when your finished! ( it is now!)  :2thumbs:
If you do decide on a passenger side mirror make sure you look at the mirror close. I bought one for mine and the mirror glass distorts so bad it's almost useless to see out of. :pullinghair:

time for a little update.  I taped up all wiring except the engine harness. Insulated the entire inside and layed the new carpet. I also had a new velours headliner made... plan was to go with a full aluminum headlinerpanel, but unfortunately my friend sold his huge englishwheel, so that will had to wait for until the next time I`m doing the interior. In the future I really want to upholster all panels with suede and redo the seats as well, but it doesn`t have any priority now. The headliner turned out really nice... never installed one before, but with a little patiece...  :bananasmi     The centre console I built a while ago won`t be in the car.... I don`t like it enough, so I`ll start from scratch soon.

I changed my mind about the fusebox in the centrecolsole... it moved to the glovebox  :2thumbs:



I cut a couple of stainless licenseplate brackets, just need a couple fresh plates for them...  :bigshades:
Today I got my roadlamps in the mail.  No originals, but I liked them... starts to look like a car again. Cant wait to get started on the engine, just need a bit more savings...  :money:

Wow, headliner and interior look great.  :2thumbs:   I love that leather (I assume that the leather interior?) style interiors.  If my car wasn't 100% original and matching numbers, I'd change my seat covers to the leather design.

Dude, as always, job well done.  The headliner looks awesome.  Did you sew up the material to make the headliner?
I like what you did with the rear deck (rear speaker shelf).   Are those Blau-Plunket (spelling?) speakers?
I also like what you did with the dash; hi-lighting the air vents in tan and breaking up all that black.
The Road lamps look good.  Did you go with amber instead of clear to match the yellow paint job?  And, I assume that they are legal to use in Europe, right?
Last picture, the picture of the rear panel; the license plate, is it custom?  I don’t remember seeing any U.S. size license plates.  Maybe things changed.
And, once last comment.  Unfortunately it’s a bit of criticism.  Looking through the 27 pages that shows off your extreme talent and attention to detail, I’m surprised that  about this imperfection.  The trunk key lock, well, the slot is turned a few millimeters to the left – it should be straight up-n-down.  It hurts me to having to point this out.  :poopoke:

hey Ron,  thanks for the comment on my wrecked trunklock....  :eek4:  :lol: still looking for a sponsor to get me a new one...  :naughty:
I had the headliner made by a local upholstryshop.  The speakers are JBL`s.  old ones, made in the US.  I got them for my 40 th birthday from my friend.  :2thumbs:
I went with amber roadlamps just `cause....  :biggrin:  no problem with being legal in europe since I will use them with my high beams.... they would be blinding anyway. The licenseplates are specials for US vehicles on which stock plates won`t fit  :2thumbs:
