I drove the cuda to a shop half a mile down the road last night. This was the first time I drove it more than in and out my garage. It shifted nice and firm into second, but didnt speed it up enough to hit 3 rd. The trans has a small leak where the speedo cable used to be and the gear selector shaft seal is leaking. I`ll have to fix that. Amazing how it responses to throttle
I use Koni shocks up front and Edelbrock ias in the back. Member RB2929
donated the eddys last year, but the ride is soooo harsh , it almost feels as if they are welded solid
After the ride to the shop, it seemed I was able to push the body down a tad more, but still.... I guess I will leave it for now and take it down a bumpy road first... see what happens.
Also, I lowered the car 1" in the back and dropped the front a bit too, but I decided to go back to stock height. The leaf springs came down more than I had expected and stock height turned out to be perfect for me.
I`m feeling kinda happy today. Got the Cuda tech inspected today
Alignment tomorrow and then it waiting for some rain...
weather is nice ( still cold ,but sunny), but we`ve had no rain since .... I cannot even remember... and there are tons of salt on the roads
Gonna drive it home from the alignment shop anyway.... just gotta
