Bent p/s pump pulley

Anybody have any insight on a easy way to remove a bent pulley from a federal pump (has a round cap) without messing it up? Do I need to get thin face wrenchs or is it a other tool?

there is a special puller tool , it is 2 C shaped shells that grab th efront flange & a threaded puller through the center , , you have to thread a bolt onto the center shft & use the threaded puller to press it back into place

I think this is the tool. I bought one and it worked good. Just add a little liquid wrench on top where they meet. Then they come right off.

This will take off most pump pulley's that you run into.

That's the pump style on my '73. My pulley cam off w/o a puller, just removed the nut.

that type may have the keyway instead of the  press fit pulley

It was a keyway, found a correct pulley and installing was easy with the right sized tools, Thanks again CP!!
