Not sure what it is made out of but it is different.
Got a pretty good start on my M46 optioned Barracuda restoration but now it is on hold till I can gather more funds.  Still need a few parts for it.  SIU Graduate 75 AAS Automotive Tech, 94 BS Advanced Tech Studies, 1997 MSED Workforce Education and Development

...about 20 years ago there was a "NovaBird" in our town....rusty, gold 73-73 Nova with a Bird wing made from plywood....quite a beauty, unfortunately the wooden wing lasted longer than the old Chevy...as the car slowly rusted into the ground behind the owners house, the wing stood firm, ready for its next NASCAR outing I'm sure

...we also had a Batmobile made and driven locally in the late sixties....fins were plywood and bolted to a 1960 Ford conv....the car was crudely painted flat black and had black furry bathroom rug material down both sides and apparently was striped with a spray can of red paint...always wondered where that beauty ended up at too :roflsmiley:

...late sixties once again, a local guy took a 53 Plymouth and removed the entire body and bought a coffin reject at the local morticians for $50, the "box" was the drivers compartment and the lid was removed for a grill shell like the "Munsters Dragula"....the police ended his fun within a few days...

...I keep my wing on the Bird and all works out just fine :roflsmiley:

There was a guy running around here that had a ford van with the American flag on the sides, in CARPET!  Just wrong.

Back when I was in high school I had planned to do something like that to my car, along with a nose.  Luckily, I came to my senses somewhere
