Here are some poor pics from under the car cover.  The vent was a california thing(N95) but i have seen quite a few 71's with them, it may have been standard.

Pic of a '71 switch panel
Got Job Thanks, I really appreciate it but may I still ask you to take a second shot without the flash, please. I need to see the letters clearly as well as their colors to try and duplicate the label there.
One thing I also got from your photo is that the top lift switch has a red dot on it as opposed to the white one on the light switch.
Thers is also a debate that the 71 models had a separate switch or foot pump for the windscreen washer, but from you configuration I see that it is included in the wiper switch, by pressing inwards on the switch. Right?
Is this an original for that year model?
I would really appreciate your input.
Thanks. Farouk

Thanks for your effort too. Nice panel you have there, but wrong model for me
On the vent tube, more confirmations are coming that it might have been specific to california, and certainly not applicable for export. Than ks again.

The convertible top switch for my 71 is light blue.  It is the original switch.

Challenger_7, I think it depends on how your car was ordered. Mine has a manual washer bottle with a foot pump. I have seen that the ones with eletric washer pumps, and it seems like I remember them pushing in to activate the pump as you described.

By the way exellent progress. Keep up the good work. These are the types of threads that get me motivated to get back to workin on my 71 Challenger.

I have no clue about my switch or what the dot color should be. Here is a pic without the flash. I also added a vent kit like the photo of JS27NOB to my car because all it had was a vented cap.

Thanks a lot for your time and effort. I can now have a go at reproducing a label on my computer to use on mine :stirpot:
