For as much as I will need the HP and I really wanna get a procharger the best price I can find is $6500... and an $800 Fogger system sound Ideal For all Ill need it for!!!   :2cents:

Do you think you need a fogger? A single plate Cheater kit is a pretty good HP addition. I can see you going with a fogger if you want to keep the HP level down,but want to be able to set individual cylinder mixtures.

I have no room for a plate system... air cleaner just barely misses hood  :bigsmile: contemplating fogger!!!

Well.like I said,if you go with a fogger, then you can adjust each cylinders mixture easily. :cheers:

Questionable on HP... I think I got enough 5.0 boys mad enough they are maxing their credit cards to catch me.... need a little insurance... no one in my town is taking my title  :bigsmile:

The reason I went to NOs was because everyone in my group (they were Chevy guys) was going to it,if you didn't follow,you didn't get to play. (we did a little bridge racing)  :naughty:

Okay - help me out - what's the difference between a "plate" and a "fogger."  How does a fogger let you change mixture for each cylinder?  What are the advantages/disadvantages to each?  Are these the only options available without going to direct-fuel injection?

I'm looking to add a 100hp shot to my 440 when it's all said and done.  Just curious what I need to consider during the engine rebuild.

A plate system has a plate under the carb,one set(1 fuel jet,one NOs jet) of jets for all.



 A fogger is direct port injection with individual jets for each cylinder.(8 fuel jets,8 Nitrous-oxygen jets for a V-8)

Ah - so for a fogger system, you either need a specialty intake, or need to modify your own intake to work for this.

I'm definitely interested in keeping a "low" design, as I want to stick with the 340 hood with a 440 setup (a.k.a. Cruizin's combo.)  I don't know how much height the plate adds, but with the fogger, would I need a special intake?

They give you a tap to make the holes to screw in the fogger nozzles in your own intake....

You can run the lines under the intake too, for a cleaner look and run the gas and fuel line in the back.
