Hi There From B.C.!!! 1973 Rallye Chally 340 H-Code Newbie...
« on: December 27, 2007 - 04:47:42 PM »
Happy Holidays From The Great White North!!!  Yup,I'm the latest Newbie to this site, and what a site it IS!  Super resources here guys!  Very Professional Too!  I just bought my first REAL Mopar last month...I've always wanted a challenger or cuda, but never found one at the right time(with cash in hand) so I jumped on this one as it's an H-code 340 w.buildsheet and tags for a price I could afford...Now,the fun starts...It's NOT complete and I will be needing a few goodies just to make it a daily driver, but that's the plan! Any fellow E-Body chaps out there with the following available for sale? I need a grill, fenders, and a front header piece for starters...Some trim bits may be needed later, but I may just go custom to save dough on silly emblems and such...they'd just get stolen anyway, right? And man,are they ever pricey for a little chunk of plastic!   Any and ALL help and/or suggestions are strongly encouraged...  Many Thanks and Happy Holidays Y'all!   E-Bodies ROCK!!!   Cheers!  Jeff.

Welcome to the site Jeff. Looks like you got a great start. The fenders are now being made so you can buy reproduction ones. You will have to find a grille and header panel as no one reproduces them yet. I would try the parts wanted section here and start watching ebay as they are on there for sale now and then. Post some pictures of your project so we can all check it out.

Hi Jeff and welcome.

I do not think you will have any trouble finding what pieces you need right here.

But you will have to post pictures of your car before someone post this :useless: Sorry buddy too late. Ha Ha Ha Ha  :smilielol: :roflsmiley:

:2thumbs: Good luck with the Challenger. :woohoo:

   Hi Jeff!  Welcome!  :)

Glad to see you here!  We love pics!  Don't be afraid to post some, no matter what state the car is in.  Take a look at our Member rides section and you'll see a cool Challenger in process of restoration now.  I personally like those pics as I haven't done any major body work on my Challenger and like to see the "guts" of the car!

Did you get your car in Victoria, in light Blue/Super Blue Rallye hood?  I see an ad up there for one.  Looks solid!

As 71340RT mentioned, fenders are being reproduced but the grill and other pieces you may want to check here, Ebay, and also don't forget craigslist.  I believe there is a grill in North Carolina now as we type.

Feel free to ask lots of questions!  Lots of friendly people here with a great knowledge base!

Have fun with it!  :)
