Welcome!  Another Wisconsinite, yay!  You're still quite a ways from me, but if you ever get around to looking at that one that alpha posted, I'm not too far away from that one.

Thats the car that got me looking around and to this site.  Yeah I already have talked to the guy up by eau claire.  He told me some guy plans on picking it up sometime soon but told me if it fall thru he will let me know.

I am a 24 yr old wanting to learn. I haven't really done a lot of extensive mechanical work, general maintainence is mostly what I have done.  Fluids, brakes, etc., pulled a couple motors and transmissions, but never really broke them down, and I havent done any body work before, but like I said wanting to learn.

I am looking for any mopar project really, a cuda or challenger would be great, but with my inexperiecne I may just find a duster, or something that I can tool around on and learn on.

if youre not ebody specific last i checked this was still available......

1971 Dodge Charger 318 Automatic, disassembled. Has 2 motors that go with the car, no transmission. All interior and glass is in very good shape. Solid car, but has a little bit of rust. In primer. Currently in a rolling shell. Sure-grip rear end, completely rebuilt. I also have a 1973 that is in the process of being restored, so I need to sell the 1971 as I have too many project cars. Serious callers, no tire kickers please! Located in LaCrosse, WI. Call 608.796.9044

he wants 3k for that one.  i know of another 71 charger here locally thats basically a rolling shell i think he wants like 2k for it

Welcome to the site, HighOctane!  I see you're about two hours north of where I go to school (UW-Platteville, 1 hr. south of Madison) and four hours from my parent's place up here in Florence.  As for finding a car around your area, I know there are several around Neilsville, WI and Steven's Point area.  I found my '73 project in Shawano, WI and he even may have a couple more cars sitting around since then (a big MoPar guy!).  Best of luck and definitely let us know if you find any. :2thumbs:
