Yeah it sounds like I will be in good hands in this board.  I always was on the scatpack boards but I think the site is no longer, so its good to find a good mopar board.
I am originally from South Dakota and I knew a lot of people in that area, and I would be so hesitant to jump into a project.  But since I'm over here now its a bit of a challenge.

I passed up a beautiful 1970 Super Bee 2 years ago.  It was a 383 4speed, Go mango in color with the burnt orange interior, it was pretty solid for the most part, had the rust in the usual areas around the rear window and the corners of the fenders and some along the bottom of the car.  But I had no garage or the $4500 at the time.
This guy also had a complete 426 HEMI motor sitting in his shop with 3 extra blocks!!!!!!!!!  $5000 for the engine!!!  He had a 1973 Cuda in his other shop that was in pretty rough shape so he was thinking of building a drag car out of that.  I was out on a poker run this summer and the Bee was gone or in the shop and he had a 1967 charger out front and a few other cars I couldn't make out as we passed by, but I still have his # and know where he lives so I may just take a little trip down that way to see what he still has.

Hey alpha where did you find that listing for the charger?

Street challenged maybe we will have to take a road trip to see what else he has.

Good to see another Wisconsin member!  I am about 100 miles from you (near Madison).  I'll keep my eyes open for any mopars I run accross.  A friend of mine works at Aloha automotive in Port Washington, and he comes accross
quite a few projects.  Right now they have a nice 71 440-6 Cuda for sale, only 200K.  Or they also have a 70 Hemi Cuda for the low price of 400K.  How much are you looking to spend?  Anyway, good luck with your search, and welcome!

Oh yeah, I'll just talk to my good friend Donnie Trump and take both of them. :roflsmiley:

Thanks for the looking out everyone.  I'm gonna say $4000-$5000 will probably be my limit, unless I can sell a couple of motorcycles soon.  Plus that would make some extra room in the garage.

If you are a Bears fan you are all Il.  If you are a Packers fan you can be a Wisconsinite, if you are a Dolphins fan, you are just nuts and nobody wants you.
