    My new 71 Barracuda

    Well I had to sell my 70 Cuda project to finance this but I finally found a 1971 Barracuda that was worth buying.   It's a slant 6 with green interior and is super straight.  It's been in California it's whole life and I even talked to the original owner who's 85 years old and promised to send pics of when he bought it new off the lot.   The car came with lots of documents and even had the temp paper license plates.   Can't wait to get it back on the road.  Sorry the pics are so small,  if anyone could resize them that would be helpful.

    Looks like a nice 71 Barracuda. What are your plans for it? When you start the restoration start a post in the Members Restoration Projects and take lots of pictures.

    Hey,  keep the six in it and muscle it up with a 4bbl carb, aluminum manifold, headers, cam, a good valve job, chrome valve cover & other hi-po stuff they make. I think that would be pretty cool. You'll get alot of lookers and it will be different...

    Awesome score!  Congrats!

    There's probably more 71 "'Cuda's" out there then Barracuda's now adays.  I love the flat hood, no gill, body color painted tail panel.  It'd be really cool if you restored it to original!  :thumbsup:
