Congratulations on your new toy! Should look very nice once you are done finishing it.

Thanks for all of the positive responses guys.  I am actually thinking of keeping the slant 6 and making it look original with the exception of some ralley wheels.   I haven't gotten the car to my house yet,  it's still 3 hours away.  Hopefully by the middle of January I'll have it in my garage.   I'll post lots more pics when I get it.

hemiken has the right idea, I like it. Maybe just a factory looking chrome valve cover...
300 hp plus slant six ????  Neat.....

Congratulations on your find. That is going to be an awesome ride someday.  I also like the idea of keeping the six in it.  Hope it's running and road-worthy by June so you can drive it down to the Mopar show in Fremont so we can see it up close and personal.
Keep the pix coming on the restoration thread.

That's a heck of a find man. Congratulations. It makes me pine for the loss of my 71 Gran Coupe. Can't wait to see it finished.  Btw... Can I have it?  :grinyes:

Way to go brother, you must be over the moon. No offense to anyone but I was like you. I had a 73 'Cuda but have always wanted a 71, so, I sold the 73 to Dad and bit the bullet. Now I'm just over the moon. Well worth being broke lol.

Keep us posted.
