I don't see why not??   :clueless:   You can reserve rooms for any days that you want.   :grinyes:

We'll need to get us a block of rooms for this year.  Maybe our 20 minute man can help us out.  What do you think Jeff??   :dunno:

If we want to stay at the Fairfield Inn again, I was thinking about calling them after the first of the year about setting something up.

Good idea Mike. You offering to be our contact person with the motel? Unfortunately Laura's situation dosen't permit her much time at all on here let alone doing a lot of the "behind the scenes" work she has done in the past. And Jeff has offered his time in arranging the Saturday night get together, he shouldn't be expected to take on this responsibility too. Mike if you do this for us, just maybe you'll get that "dream room" this year, ya know, the one with running water and a ................................... :roflsmiley:

Jim,

I'll take care of it. It's only a phone call. That should only take me about an hour of my life after I get put on hold a few times.   :grinyes:

Hey guys - two new hotels just opened up down the street from me (literally - I'd be the two-minute man, but I'm sure MEK already has that title...)

Being that they're new, they may not be in phone books or on websites just yet, so they may have open rooms and better rates.  They're on both ends of the spectrum - upscale and midscale, and there's also an econo lodge just down the road for people who need a low price.  It's right off of route 15 - about 10 minutes closer than the hotel you guys had last year, and easier with the directions and roads - gotta keep those Mopars safe!

I can get in touch with them this weekend and get information if you'd like.  Hell I could WALK there...  :)

Two things here...

  OUCH!!   :stomp:  :stomp:  :stomp:

#2   About the new Hotels... I know our's was a bit away from Carlisle, but we had our own private parking lot back there where our cars were safe, and we could hang out all night. If the majority want to try something new, I'll hold off on making the reservations at the Fairfield Inn.  Opinions PLEASE.  :1zhelp:

The Fairfield is a sweet set up  :2thumbs: But that upper lot that we have "claimed" is getting smaller because of the increased members attending, perhaps those who come a long distance and trailer their cars could park the tow rigs down in the lower lot? Just a thought. Also if when a block of rooms are set aside for C-C.C (20-25) we may be able to "reserve" that upper lot just for our cars, usually that is all that is up there, but if a sign could be posted saying C-C.C parking only sure would be nice  :2thumbs:
