Jeff, it does sound temting to look for a closer place. But after only one year attending I liked it at the hotel. The back lot worked for our group (and we made a lot of noise too). Another place may not be as forgiving or work out for us. We know the Fairfield works.

I think we should stick with what we know works thats all.  :2cents:

I do agree that the fairfield worked, and I'm not at all looking to change it.  I just wanted to let you guys know what other options existed should anyone else want to change locations.

I'll swing over Wednesday morning before work (I go in late) to get rate info and availability.  Also I'll try snapping some pictures of their lot(s) to upload.

I'm looking forward to Pizza at night again.  :)

Whats nice about the Fairfield lot is that there is nothing basically around it, yes there are other motels and resturants but the lay out design "isolates" it from the others.   :2thumbs:

I just like that our cars can't be seen from the road. Heck, in that back lot, they can't be seen by most guests that stay there and park in other lots. I'm leaning towards making a call to the Fairfield Inn unless someone has a big objection.   :feedback:

Personally, I like the Fairfield.  It is a nice cruise to the fairgrounds, which is fun, and they put up with our crap.  I also loved the place we ate at on Friday night and it was within walking distance which is good for those who are drinking.

Dear Moderator,

That was on Thursday night. We had pizza in the parking lot on Friday.   :poopoke:

I'll hang out with y'all wherever you stay - provided you let me, and provided April gives a show again this year...  When it's all said and done, I'm sleeping in my own bed every night.  :)

I love being "twenty minutes."

Hmmmm, maybe you are right Mark, maybe we do need to bring his doghouse back.  I wonder if I still have those pictures?  If not, does anyone else have them?  :cooldancing:  Afterall, MEK is really asking for it.

Is the Fairfield that you are talking about located at exit 242 (Harrisburg West) where it crosses 83?

From everything I've read so far, I'm worried about being jail house bound. :22yikes: :drunk:
