Electrical connectors
« on: December 29, 2007 - 05:55:25 AM »
I don't want to buy a replacement engine wiring harness because I'd have to cut it all up anyway to wire in the MSD ignition, fuel pump switches, etc. So, what I'm looking for is a source for all the funky connectors used, to which I can attach my own wires.

For example, the oil pressure sender uses some strange spring clip (which has long been missing from my old harness, the stripped wire end had just been wrapped around the post).

The rather unattractive alternative is to cut and splice into the old wires to reuse the connectors.

Terminal Supply Co.   They have a full range of things.   Ive never had to use them, but others have recommended them.  By most accounts the Evans are fine people, but I wonder if they would want to sell just individual connectors.  Perhaps so.   Probably easier to talk with them as they would better know the exact connector you would need.

I've bought individual male/female connectors and male/female plastic connector covers from him (Bill Evans). He even sold me a piece(2 feet) of correct colored wire for a mod I did. If you catch him at a show you'll see all the individual displayed.
