Inner tie Rod Boot Question
« on: December 30, 2007 - 08:00:47 PM »
I managed to tear my new Inner tie rod boot on the Driver's side.  It doesn't want to come off easy, is this a replaceable part?  I will get a new boot of possible, otherwise I'll need a new Tie rod?

Tom :drunk:

I was dropping the Centerlink to get the old Headers out and the engine too! :woohoo:

Yes it is replaceable. At my local parts store there is a HELP rack that has all kinds of parts. If it is the orig. type with the wire type snap try YO or the Paddock.

It was a PITA to get out.  I can't see how a new one fits in there as tight as the original one.  This is an aftermarket tie rod end(inner driver's side).  The old boot was/seems to have been molded in somehow?   :clueless:

I'll check the parts store tomorrow, I may just pick up a new tie rod if necessary.  I have some Poly ones but these don't seem to be for the Inners but the Outers. :bricks1:
