    408 cid stroker motor, D1SC ProCharger, Edelbrock Stag II heads, Crane Cams roller lifters, Crane roller rockers, Super Victor intake, forged Diamond Racing pistons, Carillo forged H-beam rods, 4" forged K1 crankshaft, Snow Performance water injection, Perfomance Carb prepped 750 cfm Holley 4150,1 7/8" Hedman Husler headers
     
    "Street" tuned to let the 5 speed live at 584 HP / 607 lbft. Most HP was 650 HP on the DTS dyno.

    cool....  :2thumbs: It looks like a cog drive ??? hook up the water pump and alternator and you will lose some hp.... put it on the 650hP tune  :bigsmile:  :2thumbs:

    The Tremec won't take it. It will be a good thing for it to lose some more HP. I don't want it to be un-usable. The timing is at 27 degrees. If I want to bump it up later I'll up the timing, the only thing that was done to hit 650 was increasing timing to 34 degrees but there was signs of detonation. I am thinking about getting an MSD timing retard and going to 32*.
    We'll just have to see when I actually get it in the car next winter. I leave to the Middle East in Feb.

    My alt. is hitting the head. Does anyone know if te 1-wire alternators have more clearance?

    How you feeling about traction or therefore lack of it? Feeling confident or having doubts or? :dunno:
    What size tires are you running and have you made any stiffening alterations to the body?

    I am going to mini-tub the rear and try to get an 18 or 17 X11. Probably 18x11 because of tire availability. I will probably use the old standard, a Nitto 555 and maybe a 555R. The Strange S60 has the Air Ride Technologies 4 bar without the air bags but with QA1 coil-overs to match the ones up front on the Alter-k-tion. I was planning on using the US Cartools or XV SFC's but may try some 2x3 tubing, dunno yet? Definately getting some other XV stiffening stuff for the front but I don't think the engine compartment brace will fit with that air mover on top.

    Sounds like you've got it sussed mate, good stuff. Sounds and looks like it'll be a mean machine. I have the engine compartment brace coming, not 100% sure if I'll use it yet, more for the appearance factor than anything else (I'd prefer not to see it when opening the hood). Once again, top shelf engine. ;)

    That engine is awesome!!!!!!! I would love to do the same thing to a nice 440 or stroker big block. There are plenty of cubic dollars in that engine  :money:

    I`ve got a vortech kit ,on the shelf, that was ment for my -96 Mustang.
    Thinking of if I can put it on a another 383 I`ve got. Well,we´ll see

    That looks awesome, but is there any way to route some intake pipes more towards the front to utilize cooler air?  I know superchargers don't generate as much heat as turbos, but even with my K&N mounted more towards the front of the car (stock location), I get a ton of underhood heat that circulates near my filter.  Just a suggestion as you may pick up a couple extra hp.'s, but I'd assume you're probably already pressed for space with the supercharger there. :2thumbs:
