One other thing that I would have changed would have been to keep making them.  But then we would not of had the hobby we have today.  I agree that they are great cars and minor changes would have made them even better then and today.
Got a pretty good start on my M46 optioned Barracuda restoration but now it is on hold till I can gather more funds.  Still need a few parts for it.  SIU Graduate 75 AAS Automotive Tech, 94 BS Advanced Tech Studies, 1997 MSED Workforce Education and Development

I would have changed the design of the hood latch thingie since it is always finding it's way into my skull.  :stomp: I think anyone over 6' tall knows where I'm coming from.

  Mike

OOOYAAAAA!!! And I got the dents in my skull to prove it!  :nono:  :crying:

Also the seats (comfort obviously) but also height in comparison to blind spots! And I'm tall, I don't see how a short person could back one up!!  :grinno:
Overall fit/finish.... but then they were never made to be around 38 years later.  :faint:

One more reason the trailer was made...

Better RUST protection would have been nice...

I've known of people to install hood pins JUST to get rid of that latch.

Yup,
I concur with the "HEAD" latch....LOL.  :smilielol: But one thing I don't think has been mentioned yet is the suspension. I guess it's true of any 70's era muscle car. They were made to go fast in a straight line. I'm up for some handling upgrades. More like a european sport car suspension!! :2thumbs:

Would have to agree with that.   Cornering could have been a lot better along with the other things I have mentioned.

I think you guys might be right... And I HAVE hit the latch and just don't remember (due to the blackout that followed).  :smilielol:

How about the BUZZER....most annoying thing I've ever had on a vehicle, you can unplug it but then you have no horn......something I will address before it's all over.  :swear:
