One other thing that I would have changed would have been to keep making them.  But then we would not of had the hobby we have today.  I agree that they are great cars and minor changes would have made them even better then and today.

I would have changed the design of the hood latch thingie since it is always finding it's way into my skull.  I think anyone over 6' tall knows where I'm coming from.

OOOYAAAAA!!! And I got the dents in my skull to prove it!   

Also the seats (comfort obviously) but also height in comparison to blind spots! And I'm tall, I don't see how a short person could back one up!! 
Overall fit/finish.... but then they were never made to be around 38 years later.

I've known of people to install hood pins JUST to get rid of that latch.

I concur with the "HEAD" latch....LOL.  But one thing I don't think has been mentioned yet is the suspension. I guess it's true of any 70's era muscle car. They were made to go fast in a straight line. I'm up for some handling upgrades. More like a european sport car suspension!!
