Token B-Body Restoration Project... 1969 Charger 500 B5 Blue 4Spd
« on: December 31, 2007 - 09:28:36 AM »
I know the vast majority of projects listed in this section are E-Bodies (Hmmmm, imagine that  :clueless: ), but thought some of y'all might want to check out the restoration project that I just started on my 1969 Charger 500 (B5 Blue, Black Interior, 440 Magnum, 4 Speed).

Here is a link to my main thread over on DodgeCharger.Com:

http://www.dodgecharger.com/forum/index.php/topic,33799.0.html

I bought the car in 1986, and had it stored away until last September when I literally had to "dig it out" of deep storage...

I'll post some pictures... first of all as purchased, then in storage.

Looks like a very nice car to restore.  I have done plenty of the B-Bodies in my time myself.  Will be looking forward to the progress.
Got a pretty good start on my M46 optioned Barracuda restoration but now it is on hold till I can gather more funds.  Still need a few parts for it.  SIU Graduate 75 AAS Automotive Tech, 94 BS Advanced Tech Studies, 1997 MSED Workforce Education and Development

Thanks... I may be living in a cardboard box or under a bridge after this project is all paid for!  The C500 is going to a plastic media blaster in a week or so... another $2000!  :eek4:  I wonder if my mortgage company has a sense of humor?  :grinno: J/K

Nice start on the charger. Looks to be in pretty good shape for the most part. I can under stand about the money and living in a cardboard box. Good luck and keep us posted on your progress with pictures.
