Luckily I read the thread first. If you drive on the highway once or twice a year high rpms at 65mph+ etc are of no concern. I would have voted 3.23s without an OD and 50/50 city/highway driving but after hearing what you want the car for I'd go 4.10s. Lucy has 3.91s with a 440 but I have an OD so it cruises like I have 3.05s. However, take off is still 3.91 and it's awesome, rarks up for a split second then fully hooks. I can make her scream if wanted so I think it's perfectly set up for my car. 4.10s for me may have been too much, no/less traction. :2cents:

That's also why it is getting a 518 over drive transmission.

Yes, very cool site. Anyone know the final drive for an 833 w/o od?

I have have had 2:76, 3:23, 4:10 & 4:56's in the Challenger at one time or another. I prefer the 3:23's because of the highways around here. Seems everyone is doing 80 MPH and I don't want to be a hazard cruising along a 65.
A 5-speed would be great with the 4:10's though.

You've felt 3.91s before in my car  I stick about 62mph or so on the highways around here, i rather not cruise at over 3200rpm or so in my car with 28.5" tall tires. I've put a good amount of highway miles on my car, its no fun to go slow on the interstate. But if you wanna pull up to 100 or so, its pretty short and sweet  :2thumbs:

I have 2.94 Sure Grip in my Challenger right now and will keep them for highway driving but I want another pig with 3.91 or 4.10 for street/strip driving. I have a set of 5.13's but they are way too low for anything and howl like the hounds of hell.

4.10's in the BEAST, but I am running 31" tall tires.  About 2700 at 60 mph.  Not too bad, but I wouldn't want to go on a journey down the interstate.  That's what the trailer is for.....    :2thumbs:
