When I bought my project car back in 1990 (that I still haven't done anything with but may be next on deck...) it came with a rear valance that has the exhaust cutouts.  Did all R/Ts have this and the exhaust was just turned down for N95 or should it have a valance with no cutouts?  It really looks like it came with the car (maybe put on by mistake too) but it is not coded per the fender tag to have exhaust tips  :( but I am still curious about the valance.

I really like the tips and may deviate and put them on anyway...

N95 had nothing to do with the exhaust, it was an evaportive emission control, ie, it collected fuel vapors and routed them to the engine so they were burned during normal combustion vs. escaping into the atmosphere.

N97 is the noise reduction package, it included the turn down exhaust tips with the standard valance.

You left out the word "and" CP.  ;)

ie;

unless they had california emissions 'AND' N97

N97 was also 440-6 and Hemi only in CA.

Well, this is good news and I don't care if I had N95 & N97 mixed up but on my fender tag (no build sheet found yet and believe me I tried checking all the normal locations) I do not have a N42 for bright exhaust tips but I guess I'll have to assume it was left off for some reason and probably showed up on the missing build sheet?
