headliner trim help
« on: January 01, 2008 - 05:58:30 PM »
I need a picture of what trim goes above the door that holds the interior headliner in place.  I havn't done a headliner in a cuda yet so I don't even know what goes there.  Again this is where the window rolls up to at the top of the door opening.

  thanks

Josh, send me your phone number by pm please.

The (your black) interior trim will have some clips on the back that helps hold the headliner on. Also you have some very small clips that clamp it on along the sides, 3m holds it in place as well up front of the sun visors, on the sides for now, you can get little clamps to hold it on till the 3m dries. And on the bows, you have little cups I believe the bows go into. unless it's challenger the bows go into the cups, cant remember, but if its cups, I can send you some as well.

Send me your #  I'd like to ship tomorrow or wed........ALAN

Here is a couple pictures of the back side of the trim and the clips that hold the trim on. As Alan said there are small clips that hold the headliner in place. and then the trim goes on over them.

This is off a challenger which is about the same as the barracuda and goes above the door.

I have looked and didn't find any.  You would have to buy both the window surrounds and the ones that go above the door.  Good luck.  I paid pretty good for the ones I purchased.
