I love the flip-top with a locking gas cap underneath.  If you don't go with it, then you either have to have the flat painted one or the flat chrome one. Please don't put one of those flat door style, that you get from AutoZone on it.

Maybe they got tired of pulling up to the pump, getting out, saying "ah, cr@p!", getting back in and turning the car around?  I know I've done that quite a few times...   :roflsmiley:

The only reason they would move that filler to the Driver's side is because they had a flip-top off of a Charger or early Barracuda that had word "FUEL"  upside down if mounted on the driver's side.  Or like Scatterbrain said, they are too stupid to remember that the filler is on the other side.

Have you thought about using the Dodge Viper flip top?  Not stock, but cool looking anyways.

You mean that one?

Would look cool for sure!

An all black flip top would also look awesome - at least on certain body colors. You'd have to get a chrome one and have it painted though.

The Viper has a nice gas cap and I'm not sure how many choices you have unless you modify something to work.

Check Feb issue of Mopar Muscle, there is a 72 Challenger with a billet type fuel door.  Looks really nice.
