Challenger TTI 3" X-pipe Complete Exhaust
« on: January 01, 2008 - 09:39:39 PM »
Brand new in box, never installed TTI 3” X-pipe Exhaust System from Headers to the rear of the car includes DYNOMAX Super Turbo Mufflers.  70-74 E-body Challenger (part # E30HWM-CHA).  Complete system also includes:  Clamps, Muffler Hangers, Tailpipe Hangers and hardware (Nuts & Bolts).  See link below to the TTI website for details on this set-up with all footnotes.

http://ttiexhaust.com/Exhaust%20Systems/Hsystems3.htm

I had purchased this for my Challenger about a year ago and ended up having a custom 3" set-up fabricated and installed because the TTI over axle pipes that came with the system would not work with my leaf spring relocation kit.  I paid $700 for the system and it's still in the box with all the packing material included.  Additional, I will include a pair of 3" header adapters from TTI that are NOT typically included with this system.  I only opened the box to inspect the contents.  I am offering this for $650.  You won't need to pay tax, just shipping (unless you're local to 91355 and can pick the item up).  The box is REALLY heavy and I don't know what shipping costs would be, but can calculate once I know the shipping destination zip code.  Thanks.

Seems like a great buy.  To clear things up, you had that 360 in that thing or something, didnt you?  So these would be for a smallblock?  Just trying to help.   :2thumbs:

I dont meen to hijack this thread but how did you do your exhaust by the gas tank and over the rearend. My car is minitubbed and I dont think I can fit the tailpipes between the tank and rearend...

71bigblock: Yes, that's true.  I did and still do have a small block in my Challenger.  Originally, the 360 SB was bored and stroked to a 383 (so the previous owner claims).  By my calculations, it was actually a 382.  Anyway, now it's a 414 cid.  Still the same 360 block with same +.060 bore, but with 4"stroke crank.  TTI's website doesn't have different part #s for their exhaust systems for SB or BB.  The 'headers' would be specific for the engine type.  I'm almost 100% certain that the exhaust systems will fit either big or small block headers and I believe that's the purpose of the TTI header adapters that are included with a set of their headers (which I'm including in this sale).  I bought and used their headers, but didn't end up using the exhaust system or the header adapters.

Four40Cuda: Fabricating and fitting the over axle pipes was not an easy task.  I had the whole exhaust custom fabricated (just to be consistent) rather than use the TTI X-pipe with Dynomax mufflers and custom over axle pipes.  The fabricator had to make the over axle pieces (from back of mufflers to the tips) in four sections.  He did a great job and fit the 3" pipes right in between the relocated leaf springs and the gas tank.  He was even able to use the original tip hangers that attach to the trunk pan.  I'll try and take pictures and post them soon.
