Body parts ID help please
« on: January 02, 2008 - 04:39:50 PM »
2 questions:

1)  is the MC mounting plate from a 72 Fury the same and the 70 E body???  I need an E body one, but have access to an old C body for parts.

2)  What are these trim parts to?  they were taken off my 70 Chally and put in a box, unmarked.

Thanks clown, it WAS a vinyl top car.  Its not going to get one after the body work.  Should I just leave these off?  or just put them on?

will do.   Also:  for the drivers door mirror.  My door looks like there are 2 inserts of some kind at the mirror mounting holes, is this stock?

Yes, those are rivnuts or nutserts -depending on who you ask.  Basically they are like threaded pop rivets that hold your mirror on.
