I think that is new but they have been on the Home page to the right all along.

I noticed it also.  They have to pay the bills.  I'd rather have it than a yearly enrollment fee.

I agree, it's only there to ease the site payments. I'd do it too if it became a little bit of struggle. I just hope we don't get them above the main forum and on the sides, it really kills a forums look. I'd gladly pay $5-$10 a year to keep it flashing banner advert free!! :grinyes: :2cents: ;)

If you have Fire Fox just download the Ad Block Plus
It pretty much blocks all ads on forum sites and/or internet sites :swaying:

Yeah I noticed them too.  Once in awhile I hit one of them  . . just because.  I know they track them and I think Ross asked us to at least click on them once in awhile so they continue to support.   :grinyes:

its dual purpose.  it further integrates us into the google search system which is good, since a lot of people bypass the home page completely.  but every click of an ad brings me a few cents.  money to run this site, while not much, comes out of my pocket so the check from google twice a year helps.  what you see now is the extent of the advertising that will take place on this site.

Thanks for the insight Ross, that's a goo idea IMO. Glad to hear you're still keeping the site clean.

Not having a clue as to how much this costs to keep running each month or year, is there some way to set up a kitty so people could send some $$$ to keep the site going?
