This is replacing them both.I was diagnosed with Advanced Stage III Colon Cancer in April last year. That put a huge damper on my life. I turned it over to God and now I am feeling a lot better. My wife told me I could have one toy and I decided to build a winged Cuda. I have all of the things I need in place to do this with the exception of the right car. I just got off of the phone who has a 74 that he will sell me well worth the money. So it' s very possible that I will have one by the end of spring.
I hope so, I will have the only one like it.

Sorry to hear about your cancer but turning it over to God is a good thing to do.  I am looking forward to seeing your project and if it is the 74 that would be a good one to do it to.  What color or is the one in the picture the color you are thinking.  It does look great.  Would you be putting the a scoopes on it?  Just wondered that feature intreaged me.  Just wonder how it would have gone over on the M46 Barracuda if they had moved it there.
Got a pretty good start on my M46 optioned Barracuda restoration but now it is on hold till I can gather more funds.  Still need a few parts for it.  SIU Graduate 75 AAS Automotive Tech, 94 BS Advanced Tech Studies, 1997 MSED Workforce Education and Development

Yeah, God has been very good to me.
My car will look pretty much like the pic. I am going to have the sport slats on the back glass and some other goodies like 20" wheels and a Sony sound system. The car will rock!

 :iagree: with Gordon,
I was a bit hesatent at first for someone wanting to do this,But given the situation and the fact he has steared away from needing to use a 71.  I also say go for it buddy.  Their are some places that do the nose and wings for both Daytona and Superbird, i will find the web sites and repost he for you.  Good luck :2thumbs:

If I'm correct, the width of an original Superbird nose cone will be wider than a front end attaching point to the Cuda by quite a bit. Something to check into.

Or would your bodyman be fabbing one up?

Okay guys, I just got an email from my bodyman that will be working on the Cuda. He told me that to do the nosecone and the wing and other  things that will make the car unique will be very expensive just for one car. So I am going to throw this out and see what you think.
The Cuda's will be called Aerocudas. You have seen the pic in a previous post. Would you buy one?

Real soory to hear about your cancer.  God is good to lean on.  :)

Bentpushrods on this site made a model car I think of a cuda bird.  I'll try to find it.

Have you talked to this company, called Dayclona?  They made a '71 Daytona Chager and a '71 Super bird.

Found it.  http://www.cuda-challenger.com/cc/index.php?topic=40590.15

Just like putting a wing on any other Mopar, I highly doubt that anyone else would do such a thing.  I think if its going to be done, its only going to be a one time deal I would think.   :grinyes:

I think it's actually a pretty neat looking concept, but I would not be interested in buying one.  I think you would be very hard pressed to sell enough kits to make it anywhere near profitable.  Just look how long it took for Goodmark to produce the original style quarter panels, and that's something they will probably sell the pants off.  I do wish you the best of luck, but this is just too much of a personalized build.

Although, I think it's a really neat idea, I think it would be to costly to have molds made to do one so I think I will pass on the project. As most of you have said, it's not worth hacking up a Cuda to do it. Think I'm going to buy a AAR instead.
