Dana re-inforcement plate
« on: January 05, 2008 - 12:42:31 AM »
Anyone put this on their car or have it already OEM? Does it go over the 8.75 plate or replace it? Any noticable benefit? A pic of it on?

:iagree:
I never had trouble with damaging the floor area, but I did bend the pinion snubber down into the driveshaft after a few blips of the throttle  :burnout: :ylsuper:  :lol2:......man what a sound.
POS pinion snubber from Mopar Performance?
To this day I don't know how that could have possibly happened???
It scared the sh!t out of me when it did though  :22yikes:

Resto Rick sent me a pic of it. It welds over the 8.75 reinforcement.

that is exactly wherer I figured it would be positioned , if you have access to a plasma cutter just shape a piece of thicker plate to fit there
