New Cuda
« on: January 05, 2008 - 11:50:49 AM »
Hi!  I just found this site and thought I would join up.  I collect muscle cars but none of them are drivers.  So recently I decided I would buy a nice driver - I mean, what good are these cars if you can't drive 'em, right?
After much thought put in to what would be fun to drive and be seen in, the search began for a 70 Cuda.  A pink one is what I wanted, but it seems all the boys have those bought up :dunno:.  So when I stumbled across this one, even tho not pink, I knew it was the one.  It's originally a Black 340 4-speed, but after a rotisserie resto is now a Sublime 440-6.
I'm having the time of my life cruising around in this baby! :burnout:  Even though I'm considering it a driver, it's still nice enough to show so I would like to find some shows and events to attend this year.  Anyone know of any fun events anywhere near Oklahoma?

Welcome!  Oddly enough, your Cuda is one of my favorite cars on the site.
I think you will like it here.  this is one of the tightest knit groups of people I have come across on the internet.  Kind of like a family.
I am jealous that you are driving yours around while mine waits until the snow and salt are gone.
I would love to see more photos of the car and more details about it.  The more pictures the better around here!

Welcome aboard. Just went through Oklahoma and stopped in Lawton to pick up a hood. I have heard that there are lots of rock 'a' billy shows there in Oklahoma City that have good car shows that go along with them. depending on how far you want to drive, there are shows that are in that section of the US.

Thanks!  I haven't got to drive it as much as I would like for the very same reason!  It doesn't come out of the garage unless the sun is shining and the roads are dry!

I'm willing to drive as far as I can without breaking down, and won't know that 'til I try it!  :woohoo:

Welcome  Great herd you have there Shaker, I have always liked the GSX also. When I bought my Challenger way back in 1978 it was between it and a GSX.
