TTI Header Install *** UPDATED

Those look nice - I already priced out the TTI's for my engine.  Is 2" the general size, is that mostly for racing applications, or what?

Most people go with 1 3/4" primaries. The larger the diameter, the more it's made for high RPM's... so yes, racers prefer larger.

Installed drivers side the ONLY issue I had was the one header tube just barley I mean barely touched my aftermarket lares power steering box... I didnt wat that so I jacked up the motor with the floor jack and wedged a small socket in there and let the motor has plenty of clearancefits easily...... BTW its a 440 block and I have aftermarket PST suspension kit on there as well... I have Solid motor mounts also...and the collector just touches my aftermarket shifter bracket on the tranny..

Real tight fit underneath the car also ....

Those 2" header tubes look like big gun barrels on there

That is a tight fit!    Looks like they'll work though.   Looks real good.

Not sure how long you drive it, maybe if it just for a short time it be fine but won't the steering box get very hot with those headers so close? Theres rubber sealers that hold the steering fluid in, they could dry up and start to leak but maybe since its after market, they have very good high temp. sealers in there, lets hope so.

Does look sweet, you must have a awesome ride, hope thats a picture of your G.F. too, if so you have it made

  I can't believe the way they fit around your steering box. I had to beat a few dents in my Hedman's.

I had to make clearance dings on my hedmans also....

after I removed the tranny belt bracket the headers are now at least 1/4" away from the steering box.......
