My overhead workshop tent blew away
« on: January 08, 2008 - 01:12:18 AM »
You may have heard on the news about the weather the west coast was having over the week end. We had 60-80 mph wind gusts at times and a ton of rain.

Well it blew the whole aluminum frame and tent cover up and over the fence into my neighbors yard. I use it as a shelter to keep things dry that I need to use for working on my car. No damage but was kinda embarassing to have to pick up your shed in your neighbors yard.   :dupe:

Just lucky it didn't take out his powerlines. They were right next to the area where it blew over towards.

This episode I had reminds me of the 3 little pigs and the big bad wolf..."I'll blow your house down"
I'll skip the straw house and go upgrade to a wood structure.

That sux, glad there was no damage. I remember a few years ago when I was living in Windsor we had a storm that blue one of our carports into our neighbors yard. Not fun to clean up.

I'm going to Home Depot this coming up next week for an estimate. I need some kind of over head shelter /shade out there. Garage isn't long or big enough to put car and all the equipment in.
