A good year,I can tell
« on: January 08, 2008 - 06:07:53 PM »
I wanted to thank those of you that have pm'd me and asked how my wife is?(cancer)She is a trooper all the way
Get this-we have two children(10 and 7) and two dogs, she runs her hair salon(by herself) did surgery, chemo and radiation treatments, and only missed a total of 12 days from work. And on top of that has to deal with me(big kid)
So she is done with all of the rough stuff and has a clean bill of health. And just to give you an idea of the radiation treatment---One breast looks as if it's been sitting on the beach soaking up the sun for a long time(looks real painful).
Thanks again for all of your prayers and thoughts---- the Clown

Wow Clown,
That is great news and very encouraging. My bother's wife just got news that she will have to have a breast removed (maybe both) due to breast cancer, but she too is a storm trooper and a quiet warrior. My prayers go out to all who suffer from cancer!! :angelwings: Once again, thanks for sharing the great news!!

Very good news to hear!!!!!!    I wish your family all the best in the year to come.  Give your wife a hug for me and tell her people do care and she has an angel looking over her.
