    Okay, bills are getting a little tight so I am going to sell a few "extra" things I have laying around until I finish up my 72 RR Project that will be for sale shortly.

    I have:
     
    A set of VERY NICE 340 "X" heads that have been magnafluxed, tanked, and have had a 3 angle valve job, new stainless valve, new guides, and hardened seats installed.  Come with springs as well.  Looking for around $550 and I WILL ship them. SOLD

    A bare 1971 340 Block and caps.  If I recall correctly, it is standard bore.  I will check out the VIN & casting date on it after I dig it out.  SALE PENDING

    A NEW MP 318/340 Small block 4"  stroker crank  I will get the part number shortly as well  SALE PENDING

    Guess you can figure out what I was planning on doing soon  :bigsmile:  Oh well, maybe someday  :crying:

    Also have a few other goodies I will sell such as a set of new T/A mufflers with used tips/tailpipes $200 for mufflers, tail pipes & tips plus shipping

    I am going to dig this stuff out tonight/tomorrow and take some pics of it.

      Are the tips and tail pipes original t/a parts or are they reproduction?  Are the mufflers new reproductions?  Interested.

    Casting Date on block 6-15-71  so it's actually a very late 71 or early 72 block.

    Mufflers are Year One Reporos.  Not sure about the tips.  How can you tell OE from Repro?

      I have a picture of it somewhere.  I can't say exactly at this moment as I would hate to be totally out of wack.  I do know there is a way to tell. I hope and think. Give me a few.

      I couldn't find the pics of the one I had that someone else had pointed out the difference with.  Great.  I believe the difference is how and where the welds are laid down.  Whatever though.  It all works.  Looking forward to pics.  thanks

    Here are pics of the Tips & Mufflers.  Tips are in pretty good condition.  No rust holes but there is some minor pitting on the chrome.  I cleaned them up a little and they still shine.  With a little more elbow grease they'd look even better.
