70 Challenger R/T
« on: January 09, 2008 - 03:22:24 PM »
It's a sad day but I have to let my Challenger go. I will post some pics but please let me know if there is something else someone whats to see. I am listing here first but may have to ebay it. If you want to call me (920) 621-7935. It is a true R/T 440 car JS23UOB******. Its a 4speed with a dana 3.54 gear. New seat covers, carpet, headliner, basically too much to list of new parts. It is and was a rust free california car. I am going off the car had a bumper sticker for parking at University santa barbra in 1974 school year. It has an 833OD trann that runs about 2300 RPMs at 65MPH. The rims are 245/45R17 with Kuhmos that have less than 200 miles. Origianlly was white but now is citreon yella. I used the dash pad out of a 71 challenger because the original was shot but had a Wisconsin law inforcement officer present when removing the tag and putting it on the new pad(its required in wisonsin to have an officer present to remove and replace a vin tag). The tack works but is off so I have an aftermarket tack in. Flow master supper 44s with 2.5 " exhaust. It has the go wing and bee stripe like it had originally (on fender tag). I would like 25,500, but will consider offers and will knock off $1000.00 if I keep the rims.

Man, that's cheap for a real R/T U code car. Looks awesome. I would be all over this if I hadn't bought my Cuda yet. Good luck.

Please be patient with me. I am answering emails and calls as fast as I can. I figured its fair price for it. Its not perfect just a good cruiser/ local drive in car. Its not winning any big shows. Most of the stuff on ebay with big buy it now or high reserves don't sell.

That fender tag is a fake.

Yes it is.

Why does it have a '72-'74 steering wheel?

As I have been responding to questions I have let people know it is a new one made by Data tags off the old tag (ny prevoius owner). The whole steering columb came out of a 72 I think. Like I said this is not a show car if it was I would be asking a lot more for it is just a driver/local cruise in car. Its clean and turns heads but is no where near perfect. I have been letting all interested parties know any flaws that I can think of.

Why?
  You couldn't get a/c (h51) on a dana car.

The fender tag does not have a dana listed on it. So it was probablly swaped out at some time.
