I thought pace cars were new vehicles.  That one already shows signs of wear.  The sticker is peeling off, some of the chrome trim and door handles look dinged and the body side molding on the door is already out of alignment.  Is that a post crach pic?

You have some good points. I don't know when that pic was taken. I assumed at the day of the race. Was moulding allighment that bad from the factory?

Sorry on your sale of the pace car, thats the worst.  everyone regrets selling these cars back in the day. 
I believe its Garagiola or something like that

 Here's a 71 Pace car I found up in Winchester, New Hampshire back in the fall of 2004.
The guy was very cool, talked to him for a little while.
I think I remember him saying the car came from Colorado, or Ohio, or something like that. Memory not so good anymore due to past damage  :drunk:

 Wish I took more pics of it, but was happy I was able to get the covered bridge,(Ashuelot) in the background at least  :thumbsup:
