Poll on my new wheels
« on: January 11, 2008 - 07:03:00 PM »
I really like these new wheels, but I've heard good and bad.  Just thought I would see what you guys thought.

I voted "they're ok". They're nice looking wheels, but I just prefer stock style wheels on e-bodies.

Do you have any closer shots?  It's hard to see the detail with the shading/lighting.

What are the sizes?

Not my style but they are nice rims, I'm thinkin a ton more rubber (Taller)in the back would improve the look, the wells look kinda empty :dunno: Rich.

I'm not into late wheels on E-body Mopar either but these do tie in good with the color combo.  And it does need more tire on the back to fill the wheel arch.  :2thumbs:

there great looking wheels but i see the polished wheel look alot i think its something id get tired of over time.  But again i must say it really sets off the car

I agree that a larger tire in rear would provide a perfect stance, but the style looks great.

Good and bad I see. lol    But they are 18" wheels for anyone wondering.   I think they give it a custom look.

And I too realized that I needed more rubber in the back "after" buying them.    :banghead:

Looks good to me.  Maybe a bit more rubber in the rear.  Maybe they will fit on the front!  Then you can get some bigger meats for the rear!

My personal opinion, is not necessarily more width in the rear tires, but definately height. Those around 26" or so tall?

I'm running 28.5" tall, i feel the 'meat' makes all the difference in keeping new/bigger wheels twords the 'muscle' side of things. Really helps fatten up the wheel wells

Other than that, i do support black/polished wheels  :2thumbs:

Sorry but I think they take away from such a beautiful car. Just don't look right. Maybe it is not the wheel but the lack of tire.
