remember, I am an old dog, but no I don't care for them....Vintage Cragar SS would be my style.....back in the day, Cragars were the first mod we made, then exhaust, then an 8-track tape deck  :roflsmiley:
I remember my Dad saying "What do you want to put 15 inch wheels on a Challenger for? The 14's are fine."  He had never jacked a car up and driven downhill all day like we did.  I guess somethings never change.   Now it is just 17's and 18's and sitting the cars lower. The guys in their 50's probably like stock or 15's.  The guys in their 40's are probably split between 15's and larger and the younger guys, 30's and younger, probably like the larger wheels.  It gives our hobby real variety; which is good. I like the wheels.   I have the same ones on my BMW only chrome.  They take on a whole new look in black on the Cuda.

YUP early 40's and I cant choose for myself between old and new school sizes! :dunno: But I do like the black center with the billboards but needs more rubber in the rear.
Now to hijack a bit..."IMCARN82"... are those 17's with 45 series maybe 255/45 rear w/245/45 front? They do look good on yours sir!

i voted they're ok.

I would've gone with a satin aluminum finish for the spokes.  I just don't like black rims.  That's why you have tires!

and yeah, a taller tire in back... like a 285/40 or 295/45 would really kick it up a notch

Not my style, but they look ok with the car. I think the billboards actually help. Could use a little more meat on those bones IMO.  :2cents:

Personally, i find these wheels would fit perfectly on a fully customized E-body, like the fiberglass Cuda here:

But on an otherwise pretty original car like yours, i think they look too modern and some kind of 15"s with fat rubbers would be a better match.

I like the black color though and will probably opt for black wheels on my Chally too.

I also voted: "They're OK". If I were to go big and modern I'd definitely bypass the chrome, chrome to me just looks cheap. I'd do what you're doing if I went big by going mostly (if not all) black. You're car looks sharp bud and more importantly, are you happy with them? :dunno:

I like them and I'm happy with the way it looks.  I do agree that the rear needs more rubber and I will eventually get some bigger tires.  Plus I got too much money in them to change my mind now!    :lol2:   I still got the other set if I ever want to swap them out too.

The brand is ADR for who asked.

They're okay, but I prefer either completely black or completely chrome; not really a mix-n-match.  Sometimes a chrome/polished lip looks alright, but the car's color is usually the determining factor.

Personally, I hate big rims on a classic muscle car. I like deep dish wheels, lots of tire, and raised white letters.

But having said that, I voted OK on these because the black centers tone them down quite a bit, and I think they look much better than if they were all chrome. These actually look pretty nice with the billboards.

I voted OK too but it doesn't matter because you can get taller tires for the back after you burn these off  :2thumbs:
