My F150 Took a HIT From an 18 Wheeler
« on: January 12, 2008 - 01:50:23 AM »
I'm on a mission to find a good body shop now.  Looks like I will go to the dealership where I bought my truck from to get it repaired.  I will get a lifetime warranty on the repair through my insurance company.

On my way to work an 18 wheeler decided not to LOOK  :scared: before pulling out into traffic and hit me.  I swerved at the last second and he only clipped my box, otherwise the whole front end would've been creamed.    The good news is that I was not injured.   :eek4:  :crying:  :-\  :swear:  :pullinghair:  :banghead:  :bricks1: :violin:

And whats this about owning a Ford Truck? :stirpot:

You may own your Ford but Ford owns any pictures that you take of the vehicle.   :grinyes:

Glad you weren't hurt and the truck looks fixable no problem.  Hell that might even buff out!   :grinyes:

I see a few members are out of the closet now, feel free to go back in  :roflsmiley:  and come out with a Dodge truck next time!   :screwy:

If everybody else in that "country" of yours jumped off a cliff, what would you do?   :nono:

He'd have better luck buffing it out on a Dodge!  :clapping:

I've seen some of the bigger high dollar restoration shops with cars on displays at some of the shows using Ford haulers and that kind of annoyed me too.   :2cents:

Glad nobody was hurt and I had a similar incident taking my wifes car to a body shop for an estimate...

All I can say is BUILT FORD TOUGH!!! but no match for a Kenworth 18 wheeler.  I doubt a Dodge or a GMC truck would fare any better.   :blah:  :blah:  :blah:
