I do not think the availabilty of the pads will be an issue.  Just take the new ones that you get and the number of the pads and I think it would be easy to find the pads at any parts store.
Got a pretty good start on my M46 optioned Barracuda restoration but now it is on hold till I can gather more funds.  Still need a few parts for it.  SIU Graduate 75 AAS Automotive Tech, 94 BS Advanced Tech Studies, 1997 MSED Workforce Education and Development

73 Satellite would have the floating K frame & taller spindles , not a recommended swap

I guess my first question is what you consider reasonably priced?   :dunno:  I did an SSBC conversion in the late spring. Nothing too exotic, although I did upgrade to the slotted rotors. Ther nice thing about it is everything FIT! No grinding , hammering, redrilling or any other fit related problems. My biggest mistake was not getting new brake lines (they looked good?) but the fronts were very uncooperative. This was my fault , not the fault of the kit. And would have cut 2-3 hours off the install time!! So if you're gonna do it, call inline tube for some new lines!   :working:

I put around 800 miles on NIKKI tis past summer and have been very happy with it. There was even a situation where they really got "tested"  and I was REALLY HAPPY with them.  Hope this helps.   :burnout:

me too... worked out great and was a true bolt in!!!!!!!

Keep in mind that the Wilwoods are not an "all weather" design.  Though it is not likely that water could splash past the pads and pistons, but there are no seals there to stop it.

Take a look @ Scarebird first , they have cheap alternative swaps using common parts

The biggest thing is the spindles and caliper adapters. If you can score these at a decent price froma yard or member, then you can get new rotors, calipers, hoses, bearings, seals, at any parts store.

I hope that I can go that way again.  I have done that in the past and converted over.  Maybe someone will have that and let me know.

not nessisarily , often the calpiers are designed to use a standard production pad , Bear uses the 97 Vette pad for example
I would have tio aks SSBC about what pads fit a given caliper design

I have had the scarebird kit for 2 years now and haven't had one problem with them. They feel good and work great. I have right around $250.00 in new parts in the whole conversion and will be doing the rears here soon
