Return spring under the slapstick shifter

One of my firts post here one this great site  :jumping:

I Will here you guys are there some of you there has some pictures of the linkage return spring under the slapstick console.


I`am going to make conversion from cabel to the original shifter linkages. I think I have all the rod`s except the kickdown rod and the spring.

So I will be glad for any information...

Can't find the spring. I think I used it now, because I do have the rod. I can remember trying it on a couple of different ways. I would be happy to give you the rod, its the longer one for the inside of the car. I believe you could fashion a spring to work like this one. It is an odd one, but if you study the picture, you may be able to bend a spring that will work. George

I have the spring in my hand! I looked, didnt find it, took a walk, looked more, then gave up, finally remembering a box I had stashed away to complete my car. It was there, I dont need it, Its yours for the shipping.

Cool, that spring is gonna do more traveling than I have done in my life, thanks for passing it on george, I don't have a lot of extra parts, glad to see what little I have helping other members (or trying too,right george) anyway CC folks are the Best!  :2thumbs: Rich.
