I might have missed it but what qualifies as a resident member?
In your case, you'll have to post 1974 more posts. ;)

Al,
I just turned 53 last Nov. and know the pains you talk about real well. One thing you should do is go to Carlisle. The wife and I did in 07 and meet the best of people the world has to offer. I only wish I was closer the 1800 miles so we could go every year. We plan on going in 2010 for the Trans Am reunion again. We will be bringing the T/A again as we did in 05.

Out of all the people, I honestly considered selling you my car since it is so hard for you to find a good solid 70 to own. I am sure I can find cars all over my area, but I am afraid to let this jewel go right now.  I will keep looking for deals for you

Well that let's me out.
I've been a member for a long time, I just don't post a lot, cause it's usually been said.
But it's still a great thing going on here.

Moparal always goes above and beyond.  His demeanor on here has been second to none ever since I've been on here.  He is always looking out for others.

You truly are a sincere, humble, compassionate and loyal gentleman whose earned my respect through your posts.  It would be an honor to meet you in person someday.  I hope our paths cross sometime.  Thanks for being the person you are, Alan.  You're the silver lining to many of us.

Your'e a heck of a guy Al. My hat is off to you. :angelwings:

The whole though of your scheme makes me worried that it may be because you aren't going to be around to enjoy this site with the rest of for many many more years to come. I sure hope this isn't the case.

It is a nice thing you are offering but I was just wondering why you are only willing to help people who post alot?  I don't want anything for free but I'll bet there are people who could use your help but just don't post alot.  I pretty much visit this site everyday but don't post alot.  Some of the people that may need your help the most may just have just gotten into the hobby, are young or just not very communicative.  Are you starting a prolific posters club?  By the way, when someone new posts something for sale or a service offered without many posts or posting in the Newb section (as I did over 2 years ago) and you jump all over them it reflects badly on this site and may drive some away unneccessarily.  Again let me say this is a very generous offer and it is obvious that you are a standup guy and I was only curious about the posting numbers requirement which of course you have every right to require.
