Lets see your first MOPAR!
« on: January 14, 2008 - 01:41:29 PM »
I think it's time we go back a few years for a while. This is the first Mopar I ever owned. In the pic I'm a freshman in high school. The pic was taken aroung 1969-1970. This is my 65 Barracuda, 273 with 3 on the floor.   Now dig out those old photos!!

Wow I had two 1964 Barracuda's the one I had was white with a red interior and had a 273 with a 4 speed.  I miss it and I also had a 63 1/2 that was white that was a 3 speed that I changed to a 4 speed and into a race car.  Just wish I had the pictures of mine.
Got a pretty good start on my M46 optioned Barracuda restoration but now it is on hold till I can gather more funds.  Still need a few parts for it.  SIU Graduate 75 AAS Automotive Tech, 94 BS Advanced Tech Studies, 1997 MSED Workforce Education and Development

My first Mopar was a 69 Sport Satellite in yellow.  Only picture I have on it it's far in the background and out of focus.

68 Dart, 225 3 speed.  Bought it for $600 3 years ago, sold it a couple months after buying the Barracuda.

I know how that is. In 74 or 75 I sold my 69 Road Runner for $125.00 and watched it drive away. It was a completely stock car with nothing touched. I was getting into 4X4's so I decided I didn't need it any longer.
