The lap belt doesn't want to return completely into the pocket. It seems the spring is not strong enough or maybe it skipped a notch.

I closed the door on it recently, but luckly spared my new sill plates. Now something needs to be done. Any advice oh wise C.C. members?

tkae it apart , clean it , lube it & possibly rewind it , I had to rebuild a GTX one last fall
